Writing for Animation is a unique screenwriting form which leaves room for experimentation and creativity. In this course, we’ll discuss the differences and similarities between writing for animation and writing for live action. Students will complete a series pitch, beat sheet, and outline for an 11-minute animation series which will then be workshopped with their peers. You’ll also learn key strategies for career building & pitching, portfolio building, and networking.
