
Sean Horlor is filmmaker and writer based in Vancouver, Canada. His documentaries — SATAN WANTS YOU (SXSW) and SOMEONE LIKE ME (National Film Board of Canada) — have screened globally to (mostly) critical acclaim.He runs Nootka Street Film Company with fellow filmmaker Steve J. Adams. Horlor is the author of MADE BEAUTIFUL BY USE (Banff Writing Studio ’04, Canada Council for the Arts ’06). He’s also the former host and creator of the reality TV series DON’T QUIT YOUR GAY JOB — which is exactly the kind of show you’re imagining after reading that title.His practice spans film, television, creative nonfiction, and poetry.
